DU Student Abducted on Her Way to Sajek

A postgraduate student of Dhaka University (DU) has been abducted on her way to Sajek Valley in Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati.

Rangamati Superintendent of Police (SP) Mir Abu Tauhid said that the incident took place around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday (September 6).

According to the police, the name of the abducted student is Dwipita Chakma (24). She is a postgraduate student at the Public Administration Department of Dhaka University.

Confirming the matter, Superintendent of Police Mir Abu Tawhid said that around 12:30 in the afternoon, some miscreants stopped the car and abducted the girl on her way to Sajek. Our rescue operation is underway. We hope to rescue the girl soon.
